Adam and Dr. Drew open the show discussing the recent controversy surrounding Dave Chappelle and Drew’s delight that despite that he is still able to tour and fill arenas. Before turning to the phones, Adam pays off a tease from the last show and plays a clip of Chicago mayor Lori Lightfoot addressing the controversy surrounding her getting a haircut mid-pandemic. Upon getting to the phones they are met by a caller who is unvaccinated and facing a 40% jump in his insurance costs as a result. They also discuss the Alec Baldwin tragedy and speak to a caller who is still struggling after a breakup and looking for advice.

Later they turn to the phones and speak to a caller who wants their thoughts on the National Anthem leading Adam to an epic rant on the subject, they also speak with a caller who has previously had Covid and is looking for Dr. Drew’s advice on how to best monitor his levels of protection from a second infection.

They also discuss the days of band leaders and true musicians and how they compare to artists like DJ Kahled and Steve Aoki. They then turn back to the phones and speak to a parent whose child has been institutionalized and is extremely distraught.
