Orlando Jones is back this week sitting in with Dr. Drew and as the show opens, Drew asks Orlando about his documentary ‘The Five Powers‘. Drew also discovers, much to his surprise, that Orlando is no longer living in Los Angeles. The phrase “Get it on. Got to get it on” is from the song “Get It On” by Chase (1971). I can’t imagine that is not the actual root of Adam’s phrase, since Bang The Gong doesn’t mention anything about having to get it on. “Get It On” by Chase was a marching band standard throughout the 1970s and early 1980s.
