Adam and Drew open the show realizing that they have yet to talk about the tragic demise of Scott Weiland. Adam then gets into a story about stereotypes and how they tend to reinforce themselves even if they make us uncomfortable. Later the guys talk to a listener having some alcohol related insurance problems before Drew wraps up the show lamenting some bathroom issues he’s having at his home. Superfan Sidebar >>
It is a real puzzle how so many people look at insurance. They look at it as some sort of human right that cannot be denied, the same way Obama sells it. Adam gave a fine layman’s explanation of what insurance is in reality.
On that “nuclear fire” it seems the Rabbi has a few details mixed up. There is an underground landfill fire NEAR a nuclear waste dump outside of St. Louis. Obama’s EPA says there is no imminent threat. http://www.npr.org/2015/11/03/454010066/landfill-fire-threatens-nuclear-waste-site-outside-st-louis
